You may be wondering, what do you mean by a ” church launch in the heart of Cambridge?”  Good Question!  Let us start by telling you what that doesn’t mean.  It doesn’t mean we are buying a building so we can have a “church.”  So often, when you say, “church,” people think you mean a church building.  That’s not at all what we mean.  The Church (worldwide) is made up of people who are following Christ, growing in their walk with Him and making Christ visible to a hurting world.  They gather to experience God together, learn and grow in Him, and help lead others into and intimate relationship with Him!  At some point, we may rent or even own a building, but the Church is not a building, it’s a people, called know Christ and make Him known!

As far as the “launch” part, we simply feel that God desires Journey Church to have an outward focus seeing many people come into an intimate and life-giving relationship with Christ! 

Here is a little about our background and ministry history:

Kent and Gina Murawski are called to help lead a generation in the worship and adoration of God.

Kent is an ordained minister through Elim Fellowship.  He served as the Executive Director of BASIC College Ministries from 2004-2009, leading a network of over 30 campus ministries across the Northeast.  He has served as a youth pastor, college and young adult pastor, worship leader and now a lead pastor.  He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997 with a B.S. in Conservation Biology and a minor in Geology.  He  has worked in both the professional and ministry worlds.  Kent’s desire is to help people come into relationship with and really know God.

Gina is a wife, mother, and gifted lead worshiper.  She has a heart to see God exalted among women and among this generation.  She is a stay-at-home mom who loves to invest in her children.  Her worship is passionate and soulful in its expression; allowing others to easily connect with God in an intimate way.

Kent and Gina reside in Cambridge, MA with their two children Kole and Ava.
